We are
pleased to announce the fifth international biennial
Conference on Telecommunications ConTEL 99 and second triennial international Broadband
& Multimedia Workshop B&MW 99. VENUE
ConTEL 99 and B&MW
99 will take place at the Congress Center of
the Faculty
of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb.
OBJECTIVES OF CONFERENCE AND
WORKSHOP
The objective of the Conference on Telecommunications ConTEL 99 and Broadband & Multimedia Workshop B&MW 99 is to provide an open forum for
telecommunication researchers and experts to discuss new
and emerging systems, standards and the results of their
research in different areas.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
Original, yet unpublished papers addressing the following
telecommunications topics are invited:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING
PAPERS (for Conference and Workshop)
Authors are invited to submit extended abstract or full
paper according to the submission guidelines below. The
papers will be selected by the International Program
Committee and will be published in Proceedings on ConTEL 99 and Proceedings on B&MW 99. While initial submissions can be in any
format, it may be more convenient for authors to use the
IEEE author guidelines for these submissions - the final
papers will need to comply with IEEE format. The final
papers should not exceed 8 pages, according to the IEEE
format (double column, single space, 10 point Times
font). Please have a look at the ConTEL 99 WWW site for full description of paper format.
The language of the Conference and Workshop is English.
All initial submissions should be accompanied by a cover
sheet that contains paper's title and the full name(s),
affiliation, complete return address, telephone, fax and
e-mail address of the author to whom all correspondence
will be sent. Authors are welcome to choose if they
submit their papers to the Conference or the Workshop.
Please submit your manuscript to the Secretary by Email.
For electronic submission please consult the guidelines on the ConTEL 99 WWW site. Faxed submissions will not be
accepted.
Authors of accepted articles should be prepared to
present their papers personally at the Conference and
Workshop. The ConTEL
99 and B&MW 99 Proceedings will be published and handed out to
the participants at the Conference.
TUTORIALS
Recognized experts are invited to send proposals for
3-hour presentations covering topics of the Conference
and the Workshop listed above. Each proposal should
include a biography of the speaker(s), a summary and an
outline of the presentation. Please submit your proposals
to the General Chairman before March 1, 1999.
