Detailed payment instructions

Please read the form instructions carefully.

The registration is a two-step process, consisting of: 1) filling in the data into the online registration form, and 2) payment.

Step 1. Filling in the data into the online registration form

In the registration form, please fill in the required data: your personal information, registration category, paper status (presenting one or more papers, or just attending the conference), guest fee and payment method. If you are an IEEE member, you will be requested to fill in the IEEE member id and to send a copy of the IEEE membership card by e-mail.

The conference registration fees are listed in Croatian Kunas (HRK).

There are two payment options:

  • Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard. Credit card payments will be processed in Croatian Kuna (HRK)
  • Bank transfer. We accept both payments in Euro (EUR) and Croatian Kuna (HRK).

Once you submit an online registration form, you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail. The next step will depend on the selected payment option (details below).

Step 2. Payment

Payment by Credit Card

If you intend to pay by credit card, have your credit card ready (steps 1 and 2 need to be performed in sequence).

If you selected a payment by credit card in the online registration form, the following pop-up window will appear:

The ConTEL 2013 registration payment is processed securely by Zagrebačka banka (certified by MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa).

Once you click on “Continue to payment” button, you will leave the ConTEL 2013 web site, and a payment processing window will open, allowing you to complete the payment through the secure payment system. Note the SSL lock icon and/or a green bar in the browser window, to verify that your browser is now using a secure connection.

The data you have entered in the registration form will be copied into the credit card payment form.
If the credit card holder is not the same as the registered participant, please edit the payment form to insert the cardholder data.

The transaction processing will start once you enter all the required data and press “Buy”. The next window will show the progress bar and notification (“Please wait. Transferring order request to Payment Processor….%.”) The % showing the progress stops at some point (ignore the number, usually less than 100%).

PLEASE NOTE: Once the transaction processing is over, your browser will be redirected back to our site.

Since you are now leaving the secure payment site, a “security warning” pop-up window will appear, as shown below.

Click on Continue to allow redirection.
(If you click on Cancel, nothing will happen, except that the browser will NOT be redirected and you will NOT see the final confirmation screen. If the browser windows appears to hang, just close it (click on [x]). Do not repeat the payment.)

The next window (after you you click on Continue),  will display the payment transaction status (success or failure).

If the payment is sucessful, you will receive an email from the Organizing Committee Chair, Ms. Cerekovic, confirming your payment within 48 hours.

If you are unsure about the status of your payment, or you did not see the final confirmation screen, please wait for the confirmation e-mail or check your credit card online statement. (DO NOT REPEAT the payment, unless you are absolutely sure that it failed.)

A printed invoice will also be issued and included in the registration package (to be received at the conference).

Payment via Bank Transfer

If you choose a payment by bank transfer, please complete the payment procedure with your bank and get the bank transfer receipt (proof of payment). Make sure there are no charges to recipient.

Fax the bank receipt to +385 1 61 29 832.
NOTE: For the early registration rate to apply, the bank transfer receipt must be received before the early registration deadline.

Cancellation policy

All cancellation requests must be provided in writing, to the Organizing Committee Chair Ms. Aleksandra Čereković (aleksandra.cerekovic@fer.hr), and received by June 5, 2013. No refunds will be provided for requests received after this date. The Author registration is non-refundable. For other types of registration, all approved cancellations incur a 100€ administrative fee. Refunds will only be processed after the Conference.
