Call for Papers

ConTEL Symposium is a dedicated track within the 33rd International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and Computer Networks (SoftCOM 2025) that continues the tradition of the Conference on Telecommunications (ConTEL) series, established in 1993 and held biannually in Zagreb, Croatia, and Graz, Austria, from 1997 to 2023. By joining forces, the combined event will offer more diverse content and a broader exchange of ideas and expertise across related fields.

The ConTEL Symposium aims to reflect on advancements in communication networks and technologies that are driving the evolution of the connected digital society. Focus areas include new services as well as quality and performance, scalability, mobility, and energy efficiency, which are essential for the next generation of networks. Original research papers are solicited that present theoretical, practical and experimental work related to the topics of interest listed below:

Papers submitted must not have been published elsewhere. They should follow IEEE double-column format (max 6 pages).

Accepted papers will be published in SoftCOM 2025 proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®. Selected papers may be invited for extended versions in journals like JCOMSS.
