***Final*** paper format

Accepted papers in final form must be received no later than April 4, 2003. Preferred file format for final version is Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF).

Papers should adhere to the standard IEEE double-column format for conferences. The first page of the paper, centered on the top below the top margin, should include the paper title, the authors' names and their affiliations, an abstract, and keywords. Use the sample paper as a visual aid for formatting. Templates are available below:

Templates for final camera-ready paper
Microsoft Word 97/2000 LaTeX
(for manuscript)
LaTeX
(for bibliography)
US letter Unix (tar.gz) Unix (tar.gz)
A4 Windows (zip) Windows (zip)

The most important elements of the paper layout are:

1) Margin requirements: these must be strictly followed. Papers cannot be accepted until proper margins are used.

Top margin 0.75 inch 19 mm
Bottom margin 1 inch 43 mm
Side margins 0.625 inch 13 mm

2) Papers should NOT have

  • Page numbers
  • Headers
  • Footers

3) Page limit: :

  • 8 pages for regular papers
  • 4 pages for short papers
  • overlength papers will not be accepted
  • illustrations and references are included in the page count

Preferred file format for final version is Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF).
Postscript files may be converted to PDF by using Ghostview/Ghostcript.

Final paper upload

Final papers must be submitted via Web upload.

PLEASE NOTE: Once the PDF file is uploaded it is considered FINAL. Although the system will allow you to replace the revised version, the revised paper is NOT intended to be uploaded more than once. The Editors periodically check revised files on the system and then move them to another location, so the version on the system at that time will appear in the Proceedings.

Once the PDF file is uploaded it is considered FINAL.

PLEASE NOTE that the final file CAN NOT be viewed directly from EDAS Web page. Should you try to do so, you will receive a message
"File name nnn-final.pdf does not agree with paper number nnn".
This is NOT a bug.

In case you encounter problems with upload, please contact the Webmaster.

AUTHORS CHECKLIST

In order to complete the submission process, you will need to go through the following steps:
